Part Decal Library Help
Part Decals are used to specify the
graphical information associated with parts
Each decal contains information on the
outline; default location of the reference
name and the pad locations.

N : User defined decal name (upto 16 chars)
X,Y : origin of the symbol
NX,NY : Default x & y location of reference
name for parts using this decal
NORI : Default orientation of reference name
for parts using this decal. (90 degree
increments only)
PIECES : Number of pieces in the decals
outline
TERMS : Number of terminals in the
Decal.
STACK : number of pad stacks defined
for the part type
text: number of text strings associated
with the decal item(optional).

TYPE NUMCRNS WID LVL {for each piece in outline}
TYPE: Type of piece being described.
OPEN - segments of are open ended.
CLOSED - segments of are closed ended.
The last corner must be same as the
first corner. BOARD type line items
must be closed.
COPOPN - copper segments are open.
COPCLS - copper segments of are closed
ended. The last corner must be same
as the first corner. The outline is the
absolute edge of this copper.
CIRCLE - piece must have two corners
which describe the diameter.
NUMCRNS: Number of corners in the piece.
WID : line width to draw the piece
outline.
LVL : level to put piece on; 0 is all levels

X,Y: x,y coordinate of corner
BGNARC: (optional) bgn angle in degrees of
the arc
DELTAARC: (optional) length in degrees of
the arc.
GEOMARC: (optional) length in degrees of
the arc( same as delta arc).
MINX MINY MAXX MAXY: (optional) rectangle
around circle on which the arc is described.

X,Y: x,y location of text relative to the
symbol origin.
ORI: rotation of text (0 90 180 270).
LEVEL: level the text is located on.
HEIGHT: height of the text in thous/inch.
WIDTH: line width used to draw the text.
mirror: mirror value of the text M=mirrored,
N=not mirrored(optional)

TEXT: string of text associated with the
lines item

>T X Y pnmx pnmy
X Y : Location of the decal terminal relative
to the decals origin. Origin is defined
in the lines item wiht the same name as
decal.
pnmx,pnmy : (optional) Location of the pinNo
name relative to the origin of the decal.
>[PAD] PINNO LINES {for each pad stack}
PINNO : part pin number to assc. the
pad stack with. pin number 0 means
all pins in part.
LINES : number of lines of pad stack
info assc. with this pin.
>LVL SIZE SHP ori length offset drill

LVL : level pad info. is assc. with.
level = -2 -- top routing level
level = -1 -- all inner routing not
otherwise defined
level = 0 -- bottom routing level
levels = 1-32 are individually defined
levels
SIZE : size of pad 0-250
SHP : shape of pad.
R = round
S = square
A = annular
O = odd shaped{thermal relief etc}
OF = oval finger
SF = square finger
ori : orientation of finger 0 or 90 degrees
length : total length of finger must
be larger then finger width and not to
exceed 1000.
offset : offset center of finger.
-127 value to the left or down.
+127 value to the right or up.
offset must keep center inside the
finger.
drill : drill hole size 0-1000
